Information Applicable for Parents

This section provides information that can help parents of UC Davis students better understand the student billing processes at UC Davis.  All student tuition and fees are billed through MyBill. Items on your student account may include tuition fees, student housing fees, University Health Insurance, document fee and any other miscellaneous debts.

Important:  Students must authorize their parents or any designated authorize user to access MyBill and view details on the student account.  This authorization is also necessary for any representative from the Student Accounting Office to discuss details on the student account (by email, phone, in-person, etc.).  All students’ information is protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Billing statements are produced each month as long as the account has an outstanding balance or if the account had activity during the billing cycle. Bills are presented online through MyBill on the 22nd of each month.  A courtesy e-mail will be sent to students and authorized users when a new billing statement is generated. However, students are responsible for keeping their billing account current, whether or not they have received the e-mail notification. Outstanding balances are due on the 15th of each month. 

All students are eligible to sign up for the Deferred Payment Plan and authorized users can enroll their students in the plan at MyBill.
