AggieBudget unavailable at 6 pm Thursday 8/20/20

AggieBudget will be unavailable from 6 pm Thursday, 8/20/20, through Sunday, 8/23/20. Be sure to save your open plan files and exit the system prior to this outage. We will open up again for users on Monday, 8/24/20 at 9 am.

During this period we will upgrade the system to version 2020.1. After the upgrade AggieBudget will have new hours of operation: the system will be unavailable from 10 pm - 7 am every night for the nightly refresh. 

Please note that the first time you access the Windows client after the upgrade you will be prompted to install the updated Axiom client (this installation does not require admin rights).

Some users may need to upgrade Microsoft .NET 4.8 Runtime, a tool that allows the 2020.1 version to launch the Windows client. (Note that you will still be able to log into the new web client version without making any changes.) If you were a participant in our recent UAT testing and were able to log into the Test or Training environments, you will not need to do anything, since Test and Training use version 2020.1 now.

If you do encounter an error while trying to log in, please share this article link with your IT staff and ask them to upgrade Microsoft .NET 4.8 Runtime for AggieBudget on your computer. They should be able to do it for you remotely if you need the upgrade. Note that IT help staff at the School of Medicine are already working to upgrade all affected users to the new .NET 4.8 Runtime version.
