These figures may not be final; actual tuition, fees, and charges are subject to change by the Regents of the University of California or, as authorized, by the President of the University of California. Accordingly, final approved levels and charges may differ from the amounts shown.

 As approved by the Regents in July 2018, Tuition was reduced to reflect the elimination of the temporary $60 surcharge built into Tuition to cover costs associated with the judgments of the Kashmiri and Luquetta lawsuits, effective Fall 2018.


[1] The University of California Regents mandates that all students have health insurance. UC Davis automatically enrolls all registered students in the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP). If students have comparable insurance and do not want to be enrolled in UC SHIP, they must apply for a UC SHIP waiver by the date specified for their school. More information about the UC SHIP is available at Student Health and Counseling Services.

[2] A quarterly (Fall, Winter and Spring) fee of $86.00 will be charged to students who hold a F-1 or J-1 visa, excluding UC Education Abroad and non-UC Davis sponsored students (i.e. Fulbright or Vietnam Education Fund). [3] This rate assumes that the students are taking 14 units in the summer. Summer Per Unit Fees charges are based on a per-unit charge of $281.00.
